Public washroom usage

City of Edmonton is developing a city-wide approach to public washrooms that will consider the needs of users and the community. At times, access to washroom facilities can be a challenge for Edmontonians and visitors, and can impact their ability to enjoy the city to its fullest. This work is being prompted by a council motion, which can be found here.

As one of many exploratory components of the approach, the City of Edmonton is interested in better understanding why businesses do, or do not, provide public washroom facilities. The City of Edmonton has developed a survey for business owners and would sincerely appreciate your support in answering this survey. The survey will be open from January 5th to January 20th and can also be found at edmonton.ca/surveys.

Your feedback will help City Administration better understand the perspectives of the business community on this issue.
